St. Joseph Economic Development Services

The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce recognizes the importance of existing business to our community, which is why we provide hands-on business retention services.  In addition to providing resources for companies to use in their planning and operations our business retention staff will: Consult with you and assist your company with any bureaucratic roadblocks and “red tape” through knowledge of local, state and federal processes. Advocate on behalf of companies in situations that promote growth possibilities or hamper current and/or future businesses, dealing with all levels of government. Provide a network of resources for potential business contacts through our ongoing economic development marketing program. Provide information and guidance regarding economic development incentives and financing. Act as a resource to locate building sites for lease and/or purchasing opportunities. Promote your business, whenever possible, through national marketing venues.
