Retention Survey Report
BUSINESS RETENTION SURVEY- The
Economic Development Division of the St. Joseph
Area Chamber of Commerce conducts an annual
Business Retention Survey.
The purpose of the survey is to gauge
anticipated economic activity in the business
community and to identify any trends or
potential issues that may need to be addressed
to facilitate economic stability in the
community.
WAGE & BENEFIT SURVEY- A Wage
& Benefit Survey is conducted to provide a
timely view of current labor costs in the St.
Joseph, Missouri community.
The report provides a diverse picture of the
employment landscape with data on over one
hundred job descriptions.
ST. JOSEPH LABOR BASIN STUDY-
The St. Joseph Labor Basin includes portions of
Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton, DeKalb, Holt and
Platte Counties in Missouri and Atchison and
Doniphan Counties in Kansas.
The purpose of the Labor Basin Study is to
assess the available labor pool in this labor
basin. The labor pool
represents those who indicate they are looking
for employment or would consider changing their
jobs for the right employment opportunity.
