Chamber Calendar
The Chamber calendar will help keep you informed about upcoming events, meetings, and programs. Event registration is available online. You can even choose to have an e-mail reminder sent to you prior to the event.

  • ANNUAL BANQUET The Chamber’s new year begins in January with the gala Annual Banquet. Retiring officers are honored, new leaders introduced and food and fun is enjoyed by all. $45 per person, includes dinner, cash bar. 2012 Annual Banquet Invitation

  • LUNCH & LEARN SEMINAR These box lunch seminars, held the second Tuesday of the month, focus on personal and professional development for members of the business community. $10, includes lunch. New in 2011, the Small Business Technology Series is offered as part of the June Lunch & Learn series.   • ST. JOE RISING Hosted by the Government Relations Committee, St. Joe Rising features issues, questions, and responses involving social, economic, governmental, legislative and corporate activities that are of concern to members. Held the fourthFriday of January, April, June and September. $10, includes buffet.

  • MEMBER RECEPTION Meet and greet Chamber members, staff and the Board of Directors at the annual Holiday Party. Sample "Chamber Tastes" provided by member restaurants, caterers and beverage distributors. Free, includes appetizers and beverages.

  • CHAIRMAN’S BREAKFAST General membership breakfasts are held in the spring and fall to update members and showcase recognized speakers. $25, includes breakfast buffet. Fall Brochure

  • PARTIES ON THE PARKWAY This series of after-work community events features live music, food, drinks, and prizes. They are held the second Thursday of the month, 5-8 p.m., beginning in May and running through September, at various locations along St. Joseph’s one-of-a-kind Parkway System. Free admission, cash bar.

  • BUSINESS MIXERS Networking events are held the third Tuesday of each month at a member’s place of business from 5-7 p.m. Free admission.

  • THE CHAMBER CLASSIC The hottest golf outing around is annually sponsored by the Chamber on the third Wednesday of June. Members and their guests enjoy a day of fun and camaraderie at Fairview Golf Course. $80 per player, includes lunch.

  • NEW EXECUTIVES LUNCHEON Good things begin in St. Joseph each September when the Chamber welcomes and introduces new business leaders to the community. $25, includes lunch. 2011 Registration Form

  • BUSINESS SUMMIT This event is held annually and focuses on the growth and success of businesses. Features recognized speakers. $19.95, includes lunch. 2011 Brochure, Resource Fair Form

  • ECONOMIC SUMMIT Luncheons are held annually and hosted by the St. Joseph Economic Development Council. The Economic Summit is designed to keep members current on economic development activities and showcases a recognized speaker. $25, includes lunch. 2011 Invitation

    BUSINESS SEMINAR Business seminars are held each year to inform and educate members of current business topics.

  • ROCKIN' ON THE RIVER An encore to Parties on the Parkway held the first Saturday in October at Riverfront Park near the Remington Nature Center of St. Joseph. Held from 2 to 6 p.m. Free admission, cash bar.

  • RIBBON CUTTING & AWARD CEREMONIES Ribbon cutting ceremonies are provided by the Chamber Diplomats for new, expanded or relocated businesses. Ceremonies are scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Hosts should provide refreshments, tours, displays and a brief presentation. Photos are posted on the Chamber’s web site.   • WASHINGTON D.C. FLY-IN A delegation of local business and community leaders annually visit the nation’s capitol as part of the Chamber’s D.C. Fly-In. While in D.C., the delegation meets with members of Congress, U.S. Senators, legislative staff and U.S. Chamber officials. The Fly-In is held each Spring. $1,000 registration.

  • GREAT NORTHWEST MISSOURI DAY AT THE CAPITOL This event serves as an important public relations effort on behalf of St. Joseph and the entire Northwest Missouri region. Join with local residents, officials and business leaders as they meet and mingle with our state legislators. $50, includes lunch and dinner. Great Northwest Day at the Capitol Web site

  • CAREER FAIR The largest Annual Career Fair in Northwest Missouri is held each spring at the Civic Arena. Thousands of job seekers attend to talk with hiring businesses and educational providers.   • MY SUCCESS EVENT Area businesses promote career opportunities available to more than 2,000 area sophomore students from 30 Northwest Missouri high schools. Held in October each year at the St. Joseph Civic Arena, representatives from more than 70 businesses meet one-on-one with students and encourage them to develop a career path.
