DIPLOMATS CLUB

ANNUAL BANQUET COMMITTEE
CHAIR: Jane Graves, First American Title

This committee will plan the Chamber’s 90th Annual Banquet. Participation involves a number of meetings beginning in April and continuing until the January event. This is the Chamber’s social event of the year when retiring officers are honored and new leaders introduced. It’s a fun committee which offers contact with over 850 guests.

AWARDS COMMITTEE

This action group is responsible for presenting awards to businesses at ground breakings, grand openings and ribbon cuttings throughout the year. The committee also coordinates the annual Member Awards Lunch. Participation offers excellent opportunities to meet new business owners and to be a part of grand opening celebrations.

This committee is responsible for coordinating and hosting member receptions and Business Mixers

COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMITTEE

Committee members actively participate in community projects and events to promote and increase the visibility of the Chamber.

HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE

This committee greets everyone with a smile! Committee members personally welcome everyone who attends a Chamber event.

NEW EXECUTIVES LUNCHEON COMMITTEE
CHAIR: Dianne Dewey, Soroptimist International of St. Joseph
VICE-CHAIR: Pat Brown, Ag Processing Inc.

The New Executives Luncheon serves as a special welcome and introduction of new management persons to the business community. The 2009 event will mark the 37th year of this highly praised Chamber event. The luncheon is the fourth Tuesday in September and entails several meetings and assignments prior to the date.

This group invites new Chamber members to attend a Diplomats breakfast compliments of the Club! The committee also welcomes new members to New Member Luncheons/Breakfast, delivers New Member Packets.
