Get Involved
Chamber committees provide an opportunity to expand business
contacts and play an important part in keeping St. Joseph a
great place to live and do business.
The
Diplomats Club is known as the Chamber’s public
relations team and is highly visible throughout the Chamber and
the community. With monthly breakfast meetings and seven
subcommittees — Annual Banquet, Awards, Business Mixers,
Hospitality, New Executives Luncheon, New Member Contact and
Community Relations — the Diplomats keep very active.

The Chamber Classic Committee
coordinates The Chamber Classic, held the third Wednesday of June
at Fairview Golf Course. Contact Natalie Leonard-Redmond for more information.
Government Relations Committee develops the
Chamber’s legislative positions on business-related issues and
maintains working relationships with government officials at the
local, state and federal level. Contact Ted Allison for more information.
Agribusiness Committee serves as the Chamber’s
primary link with the agriculture community, promoting growth
and expansion in the agricultural business sector. Meetings are
scheduled the fourth Wednesday of the month at noon. Contact Mary Brown for more information.
The Life Sciences Network meet quarterly to
provide opportunities for related industries to share
experiences, resources and ideas to expand and cultivate the
life sciences industry in St. Joseph. Representatives of the
network include animal and plant sciences, health care, higher

Parties on the Parkway Committee
coordinates a series of after-work community events celebrating
St. Joseph’s unique Parkway System. Contact Natalie Leonard-Redmond for more information.
The Young Executives Network meets
monthly to provide professional and leadership development opportunities
through social and educational programs to create leaders that
are an asset to our community. Ages 25-45; Annual dues: $50.

Small Business Committee helps to coordinate the Business Summit and reviews all other small business programs the Chamber offers. Contact Natalie Leonard-Redmond for more information.
Total Resource Campaign The TRC is a fun and exciting volunteer-driven campaign designed to package membership with great sponsorship and marketing opportunities. The Chamber needs volunteers to help with this campaign that runs from March until June each year. What makes this campaign unique is that volunteers earn cash incentives and everyone who brings in a certain level of cash sales earns a campaign-sponsored resort vacation. Workforce Development Workforce
Development Programs have been created to recognize the importance
of enhancing the skills and education levels of our workforce.
Volunteers for these programs are often needed to provide information
and/or assist with the implementation of many of the following
programs: Another Smart Move, Career Fair, Character Education,
